Helping Small Churches
Grow Their Impact
Through Smart Growth Strategies

Are you looking for ways to increase attendance, deepen discipleship, and significantly impact your community? You're not alone!

Serving small churches at every stage of growth—from home fellowships to school auditorium renters preparing for real estate ownership—I offer consulting tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from my personal experience as a commercial property owner, I have written and signed real estate contracts, leased commercial property to small churches, purchased and sold commercial real estate, and served as a board member to help my own church negotiate its current lease. I’ve even provided creative solutions for securing collateral.

When we talk about church growth, it's essential to understand a core biblical principle: God is the one who ultimately brings the increase. We're not in this alone; we're partners with Him. Our role is to be faithful stewards of what He provides.
Think of it this way:
-
God Provides the Growth (the "Increase"): The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow." We can put in the work—developing plans, reaching out to the community—but it's God who brings the actual growth. Psalm 127:1 reinforces this: "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Our efforts are most effective when aligned with God's purpose. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us that even our ability to work and create resources comes from Him.
-
We Are Stewards (Managers of God's Resources): The Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 is a great example. The master entrusted his servants with different amounts, expecting them to use them wisely. This applies to churches too. We're responsible for how we use the resources God gives us—time, money, people, gifts, and talents. 1 Peter 4:10 tells us to use our gifts to serve others, and Luke 12:48 reminds us that with greater responsibility comes greater accountability.

So, what does this mean for your church's growth plan?
It means we approach growth with a balanced perspective. We'll work together to develop practical strategies and plans, but we'll also keep these key principles in mind:
-
Seeking God's Guidance: We'll start by seeking God's direction through prayer and studying His Word. This helps us align our plans with His will.
-
Trusting in His Provision: We recognize that true growth comes from God, not just our own efforts. This frees us from feeling like we have to do it all on our own.
-
Practicing Good Stewardship: We'll focus on using your church's resources wisely—whether it's finances, volunteer time, or the building itself—to maximize their impact.
-
Focusing on Service: A central part of our strategy will be focusing on loving and serving your community. This reflects God's heart and often leads to natural growth.

Ultimately, by combining practical planning with a reliance on God's guidance and provision, we can create a sustainable and impactful growth strategy for your church. We're not just building a bigger church; we're building God's Kingdom, and He's the one who provides the increase
