Mission Analysis and Statement Construction
LCSM10 Mission Development

Minimum Investment: $2,450

This consulting engagement guides church leadership through the structured development of a formal Mission statement using the LCSM10 framework.

Mission defines the present work that the leadership is responsible for carrying out.
It clarifies what the church does, who it serves, and how it functions today in alignment with its Values and Vision.

This is not branding work.
This is operational leadership architecture.

What Is Included:

The recommended participants include:

• Senior Pastor

• All staff pastors, and additional leaders

• The church board members

• Up to ten congregation members

Leadership and congregation surveys are provided. All responses are confidential and professionally analyzed.

Additional participants may be included for $65 per person. This includes survey access and full data analysis.

For a healthy representation, it is recommended that at least 10% of the regular attending body participate.

Example: A church with 150 regular Sunday attenders, including staff, would include approximately 15 participants.

Process Overview:

The maximum allowable time for this process is sixty days. Many organizations are able to motivate their teams to complete the surveys, discuss the results in preparation for drafting the new statement, and finalize the revised statements within 30 days.
• Structured surveys
• Professional data analysis
• Leadership review and dialogue guidance
• Mission drafting and refinement support

Work is conducted primarily through a shared Google document, with scheduled clarification calls as needed. This is an email-based system.

Deliverables:

At the conclusion of the engagement, your church will possess:
• A formal Mission statement
• Clear articulation of present ministry responsibility
• Operational clarity that aligns daily activity with Values and Vision

This engagement is intended for leadership teams ready to clarify present responsibility and move forward with governing direction.
