Through ten essential conversations, couples explore faith, communication and conflict, everyday expectations, money, sexual intimacy, family and in-laws, children, personal and emotional differences, and their future together.

Each chapter is designed to encourage individual reflection first, followed by honest conversation together. Rather than telling couples what their answers should be, the book helps them discover what each person actually believes, expects, wants, and values.

The goal is not perfect agreement. It is understanding.

Some conversations may confirm that you are ready to move forward. Others may reveal areas that deserve more discussion, prayer, or wise counsel before engagement.

You may never know everything about the person you marry—but before you promise someone a lifetime, you should understand as much as reasonably possible about the person and the life you are choosing.
